    Excellent little cafe in Gateshead near the High Level bridge. It's based under the arches of the train line in a metal lined arch; the sixteenth one I would surmise. Bright, sunny and laid back it's a great place for a quick lunch or a cup of tea - or even coffee if you're that way inclined.
    The food is sandwich based and the choices are imaginative and tasty; beetroot and haloumi, crab and avacado for example. Lovely toasted sourdough or chewy bagels are the carbohydrate platforms.
